Viva Quetzal describes itself as an “Afro-Andean fusion band” that expresses the culture of Latin America through a unique sound. The Northampton-based band performed for Presencia inside the WGBY Springfield studios, playing songs, “Montilla Popular Venezolana,” “Moliendo Cafe” by Hugo Blanco, and “Pagode Jazz Sardinhas Club” by Eduardo Neves and Rodrigo Lessa.
