Hispanic culture is known for its rich and diverse food, which identifies us individually but in turn binds us together as one people. Veronica Garcia visits two Latino local eateries serving up the best of their nationality’s cuisine. Ernesto Ayala, manager from Mi Tierra Restaurant takes us into the Kitchen to talk about typical Mexican style dishes while José Hernandez, owner of Palate Restaurant displays flavorful Caribbean mixed dishes mainly representing Puerto Rico.

Then, co-host Zydalis Bauer shares a personal story about her childhood and how after being inspired by paintings from local artist Rosa Ibarra she was reminded about the close relationship she has with her cousins that feels like a sisterhood. The episode concludes with performances by Mariachi México Antiguo and the Caribbean music of The Velez/Moja/Milano Project.
